By the end of our 3rd day, back on the trail, we knew we couldn’t do it.

The heat, humidity and mosquitoes were barely tolerable. Adding to the outdoor conditions the heavy burden of pushing 2 overloaded carts, along with packs on our backs, it was obvious we had set ourselves up for failure.

We had to make a drastic change.
